Clinging to the steep, iron-rich inclines of Nierstein’s Red Slope, the vineyards of Georg Albrecht Schneider occupy a precious vantage point overlooking the Rhein. Family ownership goes back seven generations yet the reputation surrounding their wines stems as much from current excellence (and exuberant character) as it does from historical significance. Shimmeringly bright acidity and fruit invigorate the palate, with tantalizing aromas and a pristine finish. Fantastisch!
