Talley’s iconic takes on the classic varieties of Burgundy (Chardonnay & Pinot Noir) are not only a testament to the estate’s impressive knack for coaxing out classical structure and flavors with an appropriately richer twist, but also a signpost for San Luis Obispo’s aptitude for these grapes’ signature stylings. Obispo means bishop, and the “Bishop’s Peak” cuvée does its name justice with lush citrus and orchard fruit character supported by judicious oaky creaminess. How luxurious!
