Stephan Serol is a benchmark producer in this region. His estate has vines aging from five to eighty years old, yielding ten different wines, each reflecting the terroir of their vineyard. This one, produced in cooperation with Michelin-starred chef Pierre Troisgros for his restaurant in Roanne, is a shining example of Gamay assuming a more structured style. Bold and beautiful, intertwining earth with blackberry fruit, it’s not to be missed!
