The Côte d’Or’s northern half, the Côte de Nuits, has a lot of competition from its neighbors throughout the rest of Burgundy, but is one of a few regions known for producing the best of the best in Pinot Noir. This one from a producer whose home base lies in the illustrious Gevrey-Chambertin, features an impressive balance of structure and perfume similar to its more loftily-labeled counterparts.
