You’re not seeing things! This is Albarín, not Albariño, and, despite being virtually hmonymous, the two grapes are thoroughly unrelated. Mysterious, incredibly rare, and found only in a small corner of Spain’s seldom-explored León, Albarín was on the verge of extinction before its revival at the heroic hands of Pardevalles. Medium-bodied and bursting with exuberantly fresh, zestily tropical aromas, it’s a hidden gem you’ll be thrilled to have discovered.
Serving suggestion: Chicken breasts doused in peri peri sauce w/ potato-pea samosas on the side. Shrimp ceviche in an avocado bowl. Mozzarella sticks w/ marinara sauce.
