Insider’s secret: This vineyard is directly next to Volnay "Clos des Chênes", from which you can find wines that sell for as much as $150 a bottle. We’d be willing to bet that most Burgundy experts could not tell the difference with this wine. A profound and complex Pinot Noir, it is ripe, rich and serious with perfect balance. It’s pretty and certainly cellar-worthy.
Serving Suggestion: Beef Bourguignon. High quality roast salmon. Beef brisket au jus with roasted sweet baby onions.
