There are few wines in the world more inspiring and more thought provoking than this bottle. Sourced from a single vineyard originally called Gravonia alongside the Ebro river in Rioja, and produced in the most traditional manner, this is THE definition of "Old School." Yes, there is some oxidation going on evidenced by the golden amber color, but this is part of the appeal. Waves of nuttiness, grass, flowers and spices come and go with each sip. The wine evolves over several hours of being open. No two sips will be the same.
Serving Suggestion: Mild, tender veal with roasted red peppers. Traditional hard aged cheeses. Or on its own in a quiet place to think about what you were doing ten years ago.
