The name Konstantin Frank is law in the Finger Lakes region, and his eponymous winery is still the apotheosis of quality vinifera on the east coast. This is a classic Old World-style dry Riesling bursting with bright citrus & pineapple flavors and buoyant blossomy aromas. But it’s the juicy finish that is truly the star here, a thread of acidity and minerality that elevates the wine from "refreshing" to "ethereal."
