Red wine from Entre-Deux-Mers is rare, and we are lucky to have found this excellent example. Olivier Cailleux grows his vines on a small plot surrounding an old stone cross (a marker along the pilgrimage of Santiago de Compostela) where they benefit from high elevation and generous sun exposure. Plush red berry flavors are backed by mellow tannins and a silky-smooth body, resulting in a fresh, friendly style of Bordeaux.
Serving Suggestions: Pizza w/ ham, fresh mozzarella, oregano, & chili oil. Tomato soup w/ field peas & wheat berries topped w/ pecorino & served w/ crusty bread.
