Boldly biodynamic after years of organic farming, this tiny, fourth generation estate brings us outstanding Chardonnay from century-old vines. Brothers Florent and Benjamin Dananchet are making rich, balanced wines which admirably showcase the potential of the Viré-Clessé appellation, southern Burgundy’s rising star. Aged in 3,000-liter tuns which contribute subtle essences of toasty oak, this luscious wine elegantly maintains minerally fruit as its focus.
Serving Suggestion: Pan-fried chicken thighs w/ creamy dijon sauce. Buttery scallops w/ a healthy sear. Fresh chevre salad w/ walnuts, avocado, & tangerine slices.
