CHERRY & RASPBERRY. BRIGHT & FULL-FIGURED, HERBAL UNDERTONES Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo might be described as a Clairet-styled wine, its characteristics falling somewhere between those of a gentle red and a more robust rosé. It’s best enjoyed as a darker version of the latter – brimming with concentrated cherry and vibrantly berryish flavors. The Montepulciano grape’s generous fruit and knack for food-friendly acidity serve it as well here as in the far more typical, fully red renditions that the grape is best known for.
