Sauvignon Blanc is one of Chile’s most celebrated specialties, and the Loire Valley native does excellent work in the nation’s Valle Central. Somewhat more tropical than the colder-climated offerings associated with New Zealand’s Marlborough and France’s Sancerre, this one combines pineapple-like juiciness with Sauvignon’s typically angular acidity and famously grapefruit-like flair. This is a tremendous value of tremendous proportions – just shy of a gallon!
Serving Suggestions: Pan-seared flounder w/ capers & lemongrass. Crispy flatbread w/ spicy charcuterie, anchovies, & pineapple.
