PLUM & CRAISIN, JUICY, LUSH, SUBTLE SPICY OAK From Apaltagua’s vineyards in Chile’s cool and Pacific-influenced region of southern Curico comes this most impressive of Pinot Noir values. Appropriately delicate but with uncharacteristic (at this price range!) depth and substance, this is a Pinot that you can really sink your teeth into. Black fruit and an enveloping impression of spicy roundness from a kiss of new oak merge seamlessly in a friendly and elegant package. Serving Suggestion: Delicious duck quesadillas (From Nanataco, perhaps?). Homemade pizza with soppressata, goat’s milk ricotta, broccoli rabe.
