With its origins in Carmenere vineyards planted more than sixty years ago, this robust and multifaceted cuvée demonstrates both the signature characteristics of the grape’s distinctive personality and the finesse which the estate has encouraged through careful selection and judicious aging in large oak barrels. The result is an impressive pillar of coffee flavors scaled by wisps of toasty vanilla, dark chocolate and jalapeño.
Serving Suggestion: "Bistec a lo Pobre" – Chilean sautéed steak on a bed of onions, topped with a fried egg (after all, this wine loves protein), and served with peppery french fries. Mole Poblano!
