Francesco Annesanti’s family has been farming this estate in Valnerina for several generations, having 20 hectares dedicated to producing cereals, legumes, and olives. Francesco began converting the family stable into a winery in 2012, since then he’s planted over 10 grape varieties on the humble 1 hectare he inherited from his grandfather, getting into biodynamic farming and producing wines that are vegan. This medium bodied blend opens with springy white flowers on the nose, leading into pear, melon, and citrus flavors enriched with a honeyed minerality and bright acidity.
Serving Suggestion: Pork, pineapple, and red onion kebabs off the grill. Creamy lobster pappardelle. Herbed goat cheese stuffed mushrooms.
